The regular first Friday gathering for the diocesan Young Adult Ministry - for young adults ages 19-39 - has begun. The next gathering is scheduled for November 2, 2018 at the Catholic Centre on 3400 Merritville Highway, St. Catharines.
This year our All Souls Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church on Friday, November 2nd at 7:00 p.m. The names of our loved ones who died during the past year will be proclaimed aloud at this Mass. Bells will be chimed by our choir and a candle will be lit after each name is announced. Families who have lost a loved one in our parish over the past year are encouraged to attend. All parishioners are invited! Our CWL will host a light reception in our parish hall following Mass.
Fr. Ben Weber and Margaret Jong, canon lawyers from our diocesan Marriage Tribunal, will discuss true facts and false claims about Catholic marriage annulments. The presentation will be offered once in each deanery, and is open to anyone interested in applying for an annulment or learning about annulments and the ministry of the Marriage Tribunal.
