40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion.

Ash Wednesday, February 14, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Come spend a quiet day of reflection with a morning presentation, Eucharist celebrating Lent and distribution of ashes. There will be the opportunity for reconciliation during the afternoon and Fr. Michael will close the day with a reflection and prayer.

Celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25) by joining Bishop Bergie for a Service of Prayer for Christian Unity at the Cathedral, on Sunday. January 21, at 3:00 p.m.    

The themes and materials for this year’s world-wide prayer were prepared by the Christian Churches of the Caribbean. The key verse is “Your right hand, O LORD, glorious in power” (Exodus 15:6)

The themes include liberation from slavery, injustice, and poverty and building hope through faith, and compassion, and family, and covenant.
