Fr. Craig Morrison, O. Carm., a native of Niagara Falls and professor at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, will lead a retreat August 25-28 at Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre.

A recent exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario, titled Mystical Landscapes, presented masterpieces by Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Emily Carr among other artists, who painted between 1870 and 1930. The official catalogue for Mystical Landscapes notes how the writings of the great Carmelite mystics, Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross and Thérèse of Lisieux, influenced these artists. During this retreat we will reflect on several paintings by these and other artists of this period to discover how their works illustrate the deepest insights of the Carmelite mystical tradition.

A Diocesan Marian Event, in celebration of the Year of the Rosary and the 100th anniversary of the Fatima Apparitions, will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines, Ontario.

Mass will be celebrated by Most Reverend Gerard Bergie at 8:30 a.m.

Reflections on Mary and the Rosary and Celebration of a Living Rosary 9:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend the annual celebration for Blessed Titus Brandsma, O.Carm, July 30, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Mount Carmel Spiritual Center.  Mass with Gregorian Chant will be celebrated by Fr.
