Christmas and New Year's Schedule

All Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses will be preregistration only.

Christmas Eve - Friday, December 24th
4:00 p.m. (church and gymnasium)
6:00 p.m.
8:00 p.m.
12:00 a.m.(Midnight Mass)

Christmas Day - Saturday, December 25th
8:00 a.m.
9:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m.

Note there is no 5 p.m. vigil Mass Saturday the 25th.

To manage the number of people wishing to attend Christmas Masses, preregistration is necessary; a pew pass is required to attend. Please call the parish office to register beginning December 1st at 9:00 a.m. during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Passes can be picked up at the parish office.

NB The dispensation decreed by Bishop Gerard Bergie for the diocese of Saint Catharines from the obligation to attend Mass during the pandemic also applies to holy days of obligation - December 25, Nativity of the Lord (Christmas) and January 1, Mary, Mother of God.

New Year's Day (January 1) is the solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.

Saturday, January 1
11:30 a.m. Mass for Mary, Mother of God
No 5 p.m. vigil Mass

Thomas Aquinas, St. Catharines - Day of Eucharistic Adoration

A day of Eucharistic adoration is being held at St. Thomas Aquinas church, 316 Queenston Street, St. Catharines, on November 18. It is sponsored by the Oblates of Saint Benedict.

Oblates of Saint Benedict are Christian men and women who choose to associate themselves with a Benedictine religious community in order to strengthen their baptismal commitment and enrich their Christian way of life.
