Penance Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. In every parish church across the diocese a priest will be available to hear individual Confessions. No matter how long it has been, you are welcome to celebrate this wonderful sacrament of reconciliation and healing and spend some time in prayer with Our Lord. Flyers on how to make a good confession will be distributed in the parishes. The annual diocesan Respect for Life Mass takes place March 25 at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria celebrated by Bishop Bergie; a reception follows. For more, see here.
Helping Hands Bereavement Support Group invites those who have suffered the loss of a loved one and are experiencing difficulty on their grief journey to attend the upcoming Spring Session. Meet others in your same situation to help you through this difficult time.
This programme takes place at Our Lady of the Scapular church hall, 6555 Thorold Stone Road starting March 29. The Catholic Women's League of St. Thomas More is holding a Shamrock Card Party Wednesday, March 15, 2017, beginning with lunch at noon.
The card party will be held in the St. Thomas More church hall. Tickets are $12.00. There are door prizes only (no 50/50 draw). For tickets call Nicole Chartrand (905-358-4687). The Catholic Women's League of St. Thomas More will be hosting a Lenten Prayer Service on Saturday, March 11 beginning with 9:15 a.m. Mass followed with “Our Lady Undoer of Knots” prayer service & ending with a coffee social. All are invited to attend.

Saint Patrick Catholic School Council is hosting their Third Annual Trivia Night Friday, March 31st, 2017 in the St. Patrick Parish Hall. A fun evening filled with Door Prizes, Raffles, Dinner Buffet and more. Bring a team (8-10 per table) or join a team! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and game play starts at 7:00 p.m. To reserve a table call 905-354-6631. Tickets are $20.00 each with a cash bar. No one under age 19 will be admitted.
