Monday: 8:00 a.m. Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Holy Thursday NB No 8:00 a.m. Mass Mass of the Lord’s Supper: 7:00 p.m. Good Friday Celebration of the Passion of the Lord: 3:00 p.m. Stations of the Cross: 7:00 p.m. NB There is no Exposition of the Eucharist on Good Friday. Holy Saturday Easter Vigil: 8:00 p.m. Easter Sunday 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., & 11:30 a.m. No 7:00 p.m. Mass Every Good Friday, the offertory at the Commemoration of the Passion of Our Lord is collected for the Holy Land.
The bishops hand over the proceeds of this collection to their respective Holy Land Commissariats. The Commissariat of the Holy Land in Canada is headquartered in Ottawa. A portion of the offering collected is given to the Eastern Catholic Churches of the territory of the Holy Land; the rest is given over for the upkeep and repair of the Holy Places (some 50 shrines), and for the pastoral, educational, social and cultural mission of the Custody of the Holy Land. Where: Midland Shrine What: St. Patrick's C.W.L. is hosting a bus trip from our Parish Hall, Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls to arrive at the Martyrs' Shrine about 10:45 a.m. An Adult Faith Formation Series exploring Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love) is starting April 9.
The Niagara Catholic District School Board and the Diocese of St. Catharines invite you to join them on Friday, April 20th, 2018 to celebrate the 15th Annual Bishop’s Gala.
Perpetual adoration (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) is beginning at Our Lady of the Scapular church. Volunteers to take turns spending time in adoration are needed; those who commit to one hour per week allow the chapel to be kept open for anyone to drop in for a few prayers in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
