Ed Wethli and Jennifer Allison of Ananias Mission are hosting a gathering at St. Patrick’s Church, Niagara Falls, Ontario at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th. Syrian and Canadian light fare and refreshments will be offered.
Ed and Jennifer will be joined by a group of thirty or more people from the Pittsburgh area who are potential donors and supporters for Syrian refugee sponsorship projects. They are making the trip especially to meet with Syrian newcomers, pastors and parish volunteers to learn first-hand about our past experiences, and our present and future needs.
The gathering will conclude with the parish’s regularly scheduled 5:00 p.m. Mass.
