Pope Francis has convoked a synod entitled “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission.” It will begin in each diocese on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Pope Francis is inviting the entire Church to embark on a shared journey of renewal as inspired by the Holy Spirit. This path will lead toward the sixteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023 in Rome.
