Christmas Eve - Friday, December 24th 4:00 p.m. (church and gymnasium) 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. 12:00 a.m.(Midnight Mass) Christmas Day - Saturday, December 25th 8:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. Note there is no 5 p.m. vigil Mass Saturday the 25th. To manage the number of people wishing to attend Christmas Masses, preregistration is necessary; a pew pass is required to attend. Please call the parish office to register beginning December 1st at 9:00 a.m. during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Passes can be picked up at the parish office. NB The dispensation decreed by Bishop Gerard Bergie for the diocese of Saint Catharines from the obligation to attend Mass during the pandemic also applies to holy days of obligation - December 25, Nativity of the Lord (Christmas) and January 1, Mary, Mother of God. Pope Francis has convoked a synod entitled “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission.” It will begin in each diocese on Sunday, October 17, 2021. Pope Francis is inviting the entire Church to embark on a shared journey of renewal as inspired by the Holy Spirit. This path will lead toward the sixteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in October 2023 in Rome. Bishop Bergie has prepared a pastoral letter on this upcoming Synod as it will unfold in the diocese of Saint Catharines.

The Catholic Bishops of Canada, gathered in Plenary, issued an apology September 24, 2021, to the Indigenous peoples for suffering experienced in Canada’s residential schools and the legacy of suffering and challenges faced by Indigenous peoples that continue to this day. No proof of vaccination is required for anyone attending Mass or other liturgical service in any church in the Diocese of St. Catharines. Physical distancing and face masks are required for the entire time someone is in the church building, except to receive Holy Communion.
