Given the latest provincial restrictions, beginning Monday, April 19th, we are back to 10 people maximum in the church, including the presider. Advance sign-up will be required by calling the parish office Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. - noon.
We ask parishioners not to sign up for all 5 daily Masses, or for every weekend Mass. It is nice to give others an opportunity to attend, especially if Mass is being celebrated for a deceased family member.
The chancery for the Diocese of Saint Catharines has sent a memorandum indicating confirmations scheduled between April 8th and May 31st are postponed. Rescheduling will be discussed with pastors as soon as possible. Also, First Communion celebrations scheduled in April and until May 31st for classes are postponed indefinitely. Pastors may consult with parents/guardians and have candidates celebrate their First Communion at a Sunday Mass with their family.
