Hello, I’m Brother Michael Joyce...coming to you on this Good Shepherd Sunday. Christ often uses this image of the Shepherd and us as the sheep. This is an important image because the shepherd does many different things:
- the shepherd brings people together as a community,
- the shepherd leads the sheep, the flock, to greener pastures to be fed,
- the shepherd protects from those evils and those dangers in the world.

Throughout my life I’ve had many different shepherds who have done that to me. And l realize that they have helped me to become a better version of myself. Who has helped you become a better version of you? Helped you to grow and to love? Encourage and pray for those in your life who have helped you become who you are; those who will make you holier so that the rest of us can help make the world holier...
